The owner of The Advantage Mortgage Group, Stan Wang, has been in the mortgage business since 1976 as a Loan Officer, Branch Manager and Regional VP.

A graduate of Scottsdale High School, he went on to Arizona State University to obtain a B.S. in Economics and an MBA. He has also received the prestigious Certified Mortgage Consultant and Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist designations awarded by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers reflecting his experience, education and knowledge of the mortgage industry. His peers honored him with the 1999 Broker of the Year Award for the Central Chapter of the AZ Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Stan lives in Northeast Phoenix with his wife Barb, daughters Rachel & Brianna, son Jacob, two cats and two dogs. When not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys climbing Squaw Peak, golf, reading and working (OK, playing too!) on the computer.

In addition, Stan volunteers his time to serve on the Board of Directors of Crisis Nursery where he is in charge of a major fundraising event – the Annual Breaking the Cycle of Child Abuse Luncheon.
